"The Nakaya Neo Standard Ballpen in Toki-tamenuri Gold is created in the same artisanal manner as any other Nakaya urushi pen. The cap and barrel are hand-turned from natural ebonite hard rubber, and the urushi finish is hand applied by skilled artisans in the traditional craft center of Wajima on the west coast of Japan. Each pen requires six months or more to be produced.
